Horse Trekking

There are a number of horse trekking trails within the National Parks of Abruzzo and along the Adriatic coastline, which are within easy reach of the Agriturismo Montupoli. Whether you are a novice or an experienced rider there are companies who specialise in a variety of activities to suit all levels of experience and abilities.

We are pleased to be able to offer this type of activity to our guests and we have teamed up with 'Cowboy's a Cavallo' an equestrian centre situated in the Val Di Foro, just five minutes drive from our Agriturismo. The equestrian centre hosts a range of activities to suit all ages (age 3 years and upwards) including:

• Equestrian school
• Horse trekking
• Paddock and stable facilities for retired horses

The centre caters for individuals or small groups and charges an hourly rate per person. It is possible to trek along the River Foro to the beach at Francavilla al Mare or if you prefer the mountains, through the Majella National Park.

Our Agriturismo is an ideal base for individual or parties choosing this type of activities and we can book the activities for you.
