Learn Basic Italian

Learning a new language is not as difficult as you might think. Our language course is designed to teach you the basics of Italian and then to get you to practice what you have learnt by joining in conversations with our Italian guests and us during your stay.

We want our Italian classes to be a relaxing and enjoyable experience for our students, after all you are on holiday! So do not worry about having to go back to school and learning grammar all over again, it is all about being able to have a conversation.

Lessons are held in a relaxed manner in our dining room or if you prefer, in our garden overlooking the olive groves and vineyards of Montupoli.

We cover a variety of scenarios including: -

• Basic Expressions - hello, good morning, good afternoon, good evening, good night
• Questions - where, when, what kind of, how much/many, who/which, is it/are there, can/may, what do you want
• Accommodation - asking for a room, cost, reservations, amenities, paying
• Eating out - finding a place to eat, reservations, ordering, complaints, paying
• Travel - asking directions, tickets, reservation, flight enquiries, luggage, train, bus, car/rental, taxi, breakdown, repairs, accidents
• Making friends - saying hello, goodbye, asking where people are from, telling them who you are and what you do, talking about the weather
• Telephone - saying hello, asking to speak to someone, repeating information
• Shopping - asking for goods, types of store,changing money, pharmacists, clothing
• Health - at the Doctor's, at the Dentist's, at the Hospital, at the Optician's
