Photography Holiday

The region of Abruzzo is known as the 'Green Region' of Europe. It is an area of un spoilt natural beauty and hosts three of Italy's National Parks, a Regional Park and 30 nature reserves which when combined constitute almost 30% of the regions surface.

Its 130km of coastline is offset by two of the highest peaks in the Apennine mountain range, Gran Sasso and Majella (known locally as the 'Mother' mountain) and its landscape has changed little since the Middle Ages.

Abruzzo also has an amazing array of art and monuments to delight visitors. Romanesque churches, ancient necropolises and old fortifications can be found throughout the region and attract growing numbers of tourists each year.

For amateur and professional photographers alike, there is undoubtedly an abundance inspirational locations for you to enjoy .

Knowing where to find the most photogenic scenery and locations is a challenge for any photographer and that is where we can help. We can advise you and take you to locations that you might not find as a tourist, allowing you to capture that special photograph you are visiting Italy for.

We know that light at differing times of the day can have a huge effect on the final photograph, our 'early start' facility where you get up at dawn and travel to your destination, takes advantage of the differing levels of light. You then return to our Agriturismo for breakfast and then we provide you with a picnic lunch if you wish to continue to other destinations.
